ONEiO commits to information security with ISO 27001 certification
After a thorough audit process, ONEiO Cloud has obtained its ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate for its integration service including the applications, systems, and processes for development, operation, and support.
Established by the International Organization of Standardization, the internationally-recognized ISO 27001 standard sets requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
"Security is the number one priority for everything we do at ONEiO. Obtaining our ISMS certification has been a great way of showing our commitment to this”, Kai Virkki, Chief Information Security Officer of ONEiO states. “We are committed to continually improving our ISMS as well, which is one of the core aspects of the ISO 27001 standard”.
"The whole implementation project for certification was conducted by our internal team and no external consultancy was used” Tuomas Bergström, Director of ONEiO engineering explains. “This was a conscious decision as it ensures the knowledge and skills of the ISMS will stay within the company. I believe that is quite exceptional for a company similar in size to ours.”
